This was the first single release from the Harper/Garratt partnership since the 1982 Shake Up The City EP. Split with San Franciso's Swingin' Utters and released on Nicky Garratt's New Red Archives label, it was pressed on at least nine different colours (if you know of any more then This email address is being protected from spambots. The rhythm section consisted of Orange's Jacek Ostoya and Samian's David Ayer, both of whom played with Garratt in Ten Bright Spikes. Ayer would return on drums for the Quintessentials and Riot albums.
Postcard From L.A also appears on Punk Rock Rarities as well as the CD releases of A.W.O.L.
