PETE DAVIES LATEST NEWS!
PETE RECORDS MORE WITH THE STRAPS PLUS OTHER PROJECTS
Ex-Subs drummer Pete Davies is still recording the forthcoming album with The Straps, having recently returned to Pat Collier's studio, to put down another couple of tracks, making a total of 13 so far recorded for an album that the band hopes to see released at their Rebellion show in August.
Pete is also about to record 5 or 6 tracks with Ian Harvey, for a currently unamed project, which also features the rather wonderful guitarist and former Rolling Stone Mick Taylor, as well as Pete's "collaborator" Paddy Stratton. The project will also involve other musicians to be confirmed as it progresses.
Paddy and Pete have recently recorded a track for a project which is called Daddios Dead. This has people all over the world recording versions of the same song, Pete's session was a couple of weeks ago but he has yet to hear the finished mix.
Pete is also keeping himself busy with Red Mecca, who are a "local rock covers band". They will be doing some shows locally to where Pete resides over the next couple of months, the first of which is on 20th April at 'the Cap'; the Cardinals Hat in Harleston, Norfolk.
