CHARLIE HARPER & CAPTAIN SENSIBLE “Too Much Reality”’ CDEP Time & Matter

Two of the living legends of Punk Rock have come together to get back to their roots, a time before they ever became living legends of Punk Rock! Don’t expect the UK Subs and don’t expect The Damned either; open your minds disciples of Punk to the psychedelic sounds of their youth and the possible avenues they may have followed if Punk had not come along. Seventeen minutes of music make up the four tracks on the EP as Charlie and The Captain gel guitars, drums, keyboards and a load of different influences. It really is up to you how you want to describe their sound but if “Too Much Reality”, “Space Virgins”, “Human Traffic“ and “Kamera” grab you then try and get hold of a copy of this. I like this as its two people I have a lot of respect for showing another side to themselves and the music grows on you if you give it a chance. Only 250 vinyl copies of this have been pressed and unless you’ve got in quick I guess the CD version will be your best bet!
