The following news story appeared on the T&M homepage:
Officially endorsed by Charlie Harper himself, the U.K. Subs are now a part of a fantastic new working class t-shirt project!
These t-shirts are being produced by a self-organised workers co-operative in Croatia. The income generated from their sales will be shared between the participating bands, as well as supporting workers in South Asia in their fight for higher wages and better working conditions.
These special and limited U.K. Subs t-shirts will be available from 3 November 2015 until 3 January 2016. Utilising the classic U.K. Subs round logo over the lyrics to 'Warhead', please take time to have a look at this great cause via their crowdfunding website at www.startnext.com/en/dnamerch.
There's a short video explaining the project, as well as various sections of information concerning all you need to know to get behind this inspiring project both on the website as well as the dna merch Facebook page, which you can 'like' at: https://www.facebook.com/dnamerch/
dna merch is the creation of two longstanding friends Doreen Zelmer and Anton Wundrak, from Berlin. Anton is involved in trade union activism and plays the drums in the ska and punk band Arthur & the Spooners. Doreen is engaged in environmental youth education.
The Subs t-shirt artwork is by Chris W. Jany from New Way Tattoo Berlin: https://www.facebook.com/newwaytattooberlin/
