With the release date recently put back from September to October 6, 2014, Edsel Records are soon to release 'U.K. Subs 'AD 1979 – 1981 The Gem Years '. This 90 track 5 CD set fully rounds up everything recorded by the Subs during their time with GEM Records and is available to pre-order now at: http://amzn.to/1nkG8Qc for a BARGAIN £14-99, including free delivery in the UK!

Time & Matter, who acted as consultants on this release, will bring you further details about this box set in the run up to its eventual release, which we can now confirm carries the catalogue number GEMBOX01.

Containing faithful reproductions of the band’s first four albums, 'Another Kind Of Blues', 'Brand New Age', 'Crash Course' and 'Diminished Responsibility' as well as a final disc featuring all the band's 7 GEM singles, A & B sides, on this update we can reveal that T&M co-editor Rob Cook has penned some fantastic liner notes for the 28 page full colour booklet, and that the overall package has been designed by Daryl Smith of Chase The Ace design, who does all the artwork for Captain Oi!
