Synopsis of UK Subs content: This is an essential read, as is Ian Glasper's 'companion volume' 'The Day The Country Died' which details the anarcho punk movement over the same period as this book. This book however, has an entire chapter on the UK Subs, pp246-255, which provides an excellent overview of the Subs' history up to the year of the book's publication. There are some good details on the Subs, as the chapter is based on an interview with Nicky Garratt, with the early years being covered very well.
A must have for any Subs fanatic!
